An Update From Dan

Greetings all from nearly New France. As many of you know I have been out on the road in a number of places in both the United States and Canada promoting my wines and Crystal Head along with our Ghostbusters video game.
I want to thank you for your overwhelming support of my wines and for coming out to get a bottle or more autographed at the various signings I did. Everywhere we went I was blown away by the number of people who came out to see me; it was far more than we expected and certainly was a humbling experience for me.
As a result I haven’t had much time to respond to things you have raised on this blog but going forward I will try and be on here more frequently.
To answer some of the things you have raised here let me start by saying that we are going to have a similar blog for Crystal Head up and running by the end of September and the Crystal Head team and I will address questions about Crystal Head there so please ask your questions on that blog and let’s keep this blog to wine questions.
In that regard a number of you have asked if we are going to expand our sales of the wines beyond North America and the answer is yes. In time we want to have wines from around the world under the Dan Aykroyd Discovery Series name however we want to move slowly both in terms of new wines and new markets to ensure we are doing the right thing so it may be a while before we get to your part of the world.
As far as North America is concerned I felt it was important to start with my home country, Canada’s wines first as they are wines waiting to be discovered by the world. They currently are sold only in Canada with the exception of a limited amount of my icewine for two reasons; one availability of wines that meet my standards and second because we have found people prefer wines from their own country first. That is Canadians prefer Canadian wine and Americans prefer American, particularly California wine. It is the same all over the world; Italians prefer Italian wine, French prefer French wine etc. That is why we launched by California wines first in the United States and my VQA Ontario wines first in Canada.
I also am aware that a number of you have asked about where I am going to be appearing next and we are now working on a schedule for the Fall which I hope to get posted soon on this site. You have also asked about autographed pictures and this site is not equipped to handle these type of requests but we are working on getting something that will meet your needs. This will take awhile to organize so please be patient.

I tried some of the white wine and I suggest you tast the wine sold in Ontario before you put your name on it.We had to pour it down the drain.

met u twenty yrs ago at Noahs North Augusta had picture taken with my 4 month old sean @ @2 buddies it was the day after your birthday and you would not take glasses off we pretended e were old buddies it is on the cowpaddyboys.com website we r in our twentieth year@in north augusta party is aug 1.13.14 can u please come do a rpeat of picture or play a , little promote ur wine ,i love the red,or just polain part. whatever please... thanks your old bud Gail ,,,,lol
