As you can see, Dan Aykroyd Wines has been revamped! I highly encourage you to take a look around, but in the meantime, here's my 10-second highlight reel:
Under Wine Wisdom you'll find new videos featuring myself and Tom Green, my head winemaker, and John Szabo, Canada's first Master Sommelier. These videos are meant to teach you some basics about wine to help you enjoy each glass a little more.
In Our Wines you'll find tasting notes and a place to buy our current and upcoming wines.
And what I'm most excited about is The Journey section. Here you can take in some wine notes from my travels or build your own postcard. Tell us where you've been, and of course, how the wine was. Go grab a glass of your favourite red or white and check out the site!

just heard on the radio - canadian troops recently asked some of the local niagara ontario wineries if they would be willing to donate wine to the troops stationed in afghanistan. the soldiers stationed there are allowed two bottles of beer a month or a half bottle of wine. the breweries in canada stepped up to the plate and donate beer however when asked the wineries declined to support our troops. the troops then turned to dan ackroyd and asked if he would consider helping out. dan said yes without any hesitation and has since shipped wines to the troops so that they can once a month have a glass or two of wine with their meal! what a gracious and kind man he is! as for the wineries - shame on those of you who were asked and refused! as for me and my family - our tastes have suddenly changed and we'll be supporting akroyd wines from now on. thank you dan!
I hope I never get famous...you people are insane. It was hilarious reading all of these posts!!! Autographs, handouts, auditions, free bottles of wine, long lost relatives and friends, critics, and ALIENS!!! This was an awesome read. Find the post with the guy asking if this is a secure website...GOLD!
Dan, I am a Marine serving in the San Diego area, and I've quite a few buddies that are hoping that you would entertain doing a Crystal Skull signing close to base. Its a distinct tasting Vodka, definately setting a new standard for taste. We are spreading the word. Thanks!
